This is Zetian! I’m currently a PhD student in Aerospace Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute(WPI) and working in the Systems and Robot Control Laboratory, advised by Prof. Raghvendra V. Cowlagi.

I received two B.S. degrees in Energy and Thermal Engineering and in Computer Science at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 2011. In 2013, I graduated from WPI with the M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Now my research focus on motion planning algorithm and optimal control of nonlinear systems. For example I’m interested in developing and integrating artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms with control algorithms to enable autonomous vehicles to achieve complex tasks.
